Our Story
We didn't follow the hemp industry. We helped build it.
In 2014, KAB Farms started on a small family farm in Ohio. Commercial hemp cultivation was barely a concept in most of the country — but we believed in the plant, rolled up our sleeves, and became one of the region's first commercial hemp growers.
We developed our cultivation practices and seed genetics before the industry had a playbook. We wrote our own. As the hemp movement grew, we took our expertise west to Colorado — one of the most demanding commercial growing environments in the country — where we scaled, refined, and proved our genetics could perform anywhere.
In 2021, we expanded east to Virginia, bringing over a decade of commercial hemp cultivation knowledge to new soil and new partners. Today, KAB Farms is still family-owned, still hands-on, and still setting the standard for premium cannabis seed genetics.
